We Are The Gore
Brutal gory death metal. Great stuff with no fucking around.
Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats
Old school sounding stoner metal, very throwback-y with a psychedelic stoner doom thing going on. Seems like this is a reissue of their first album from 2010
Lost album from the early 90’s This band was in that grunge scene… has a melodic grungy sound, but with so many bands that came out at the time… this is kind of timeless.
My Ticket Home
Melodic modern metal, clean vox, some heavier guitar driven parts, some just more melodic and laid back.
The Desaturating Seven
First album in 6 years, first original album with “herb” since Tales from the Punchbowl. I have to say the last time I saw Primus a long time ago, they got to be too “jammy” for me live and then I kind of just lost interest, so did everyone else too I guess. Well, this new album is no Sailing the Seas of Cheese, but it’s quirky and unique… some big meaty grooves and that weird stuff that makes Primus, well, Primus. I think this will get better with more listens!
Epic melodic death. heavy, catchy, great stuff me like!
Nuclear Blast USA
Melodic death/blackened prog metal. A bit in the extreme classic black metal, melodic death stuff and straight up prog metal, definitely more prog metal than earlier stuff from these guys… and leaning more in the Opeth side of metal. Great stuff.
Through The Eyes Of The Dead
Brutal death metal with a little bit of a “core” So yeah, it has a little bit of the brutal core going on, but really just full on brutal heavy metal. Good stuff!
This is a bit of a doomy metalcore. A bit dark feeling, but still aggressive and fitting that metalcore mold. Maybe a little djenty and still a bit catchy/melodic in parts too.
German language gothy/folky melodic death metal, catchy stuff, a bit of a viking metal feel too.
Dark Waters End
Heavier brutal-ish melodic death metal. Technical, proggy, maybe a bit thrashy too. Great stuff.
This is some old school sounding thrashy/classic metal. Production is a bit raw, but still pretty clean.
Gurgly old school lo-fi death metal
Blackened screamo death metal with some meedly melodic black metal doomy feel.
Band: Odradek Room
Album: A Man Of Silt
Label: Solitude Production
Usually when there’s a “post metal” thrown in a description I kind of just want to skip it… For some reason, this one played in the backround longer than typical for me and it does have some longer doomy stuff going on, but there is some cool chilled out prog metal/prog doom going on to make it interesting.
Proggy power metal, good melodies, keyboards and all that cool stuff.
Temple of the Impure (CD, LP, TAPE)
Brutal, raw, in your face death metal with a bit of a grindy black metal thing going on
Banshee O Beast
Screamy doomy, melodic kind of grungy stuff
The Other Side
Reminds me of Rammstein, but a bit more epic and proggy, a good gothy industrial type thing
Folky folk.. not even metal?
Heavy, fast, brutal death metal with a blackened death thing going on. It’s also got a great catchy thrashy groove.
Bastardhammer / Violation Wound
Horror Pain Gore Death
Bastardhammer is crude (and funny) crusty punky thrash… decent stuff. Violation Wound a bit similar, but more raw and punky with meh production.
Execution of Violence
Redefining Darkness Records
Good old school meaty death metal.
No Stars Upon The Bridge
Doomy black/death metal.
Sort of a melodic death/black metal. Catchy grooving stuff, maybe a little similar to a Satyricon type… maybe a bit heavier. Cool stuff.
Death is the Beginning CD/12″ MLP
Basically two songs of good brutal technical black metal and brutal too!
Eroded Corridors of Unbeing
Dark Descent Recods
Doomy yet brutal death metal, production is a little raw, and music is sludgey.
Doomy melodic stoner rock. Old school, almost country feel.
Sermons of the Devouring Dead (CD, LP)
Fast and furious grindy gore death metal. Lots of short, quick no nonsense brutality.
One Last Ride
A bit of an AOR/classic early 90’s hard rock sounding thing.
From Effigies Past
Old school lo-fi black metal.
“Quand s’abaisse la croix du blasphème”
Grooving brutal death metal. Great stuff.
Doomy black metal, a bit melodic and light
The Slavic Covenant EP
Self Released (Metal Message PR)
They sent out their EP and new album at the same time… Technical folk / melodic death metal type stuff.
Dispatch From Mar-a-Lago (Don Giovanni)
Just in time for our All female metal show.. these girls are back.. Basic hard rocking stuff.
From Dead-End Street
Finisterian Dead End Records
Kind of crusty punky thrash, melodic with screamo-ish vox, short songs.
Between Death & Dead
Vox are clean, but there’s a grungy metal groove going on musically, a couple sounds that don’t normally go together, but this is kinda cool with a stoner metal thing happening too.
Takk Og Farvel; Tida Er Blitt Ei Annen
Self Released (Metal Message PR)
Folk metal, catchy grooves and that Finnish fee
There is a Goddess in the forest (Deluxe Edition)
This Winter Will Last Forever
post metal noise. No thanks.
Badder Than Brooklyn
Classic metal, with some grooves and a bit of a thrashy thing going on too.
Baby Take It All (EP)
Hard rock, a little groove and
A single of fun lovin’ classic metal
