“All Ready to Go” [Single]
Power poppy punky commercial hard rock stuff… definitely not for the Mosh Pit…

All That Remains
Victim Of The New Disease
Fearless/ Concord
The first single “Fuck Love” was just full on brutal front to back… a lot of the other songs have that same catchy brutality ATR is known for, but more melodic in the chorus and overall. Good stuff though.

Virgin Steele
Seven Devils Moonshine
This is a 5 album box set. First three albums are all new albums, of either brand new songs or re-recorded/reworked older songs… and the last two are re-releases of ‘The Book Of Burning’ and ‘Hymns To Victory’. The style is a proggy symphonic power metal thing with some over the top vox with lots of “ARRRAAHH and WHOOAAOOAS” and stuff… PRetty decent and epic undertaking here

Partisan (EP)
A couple of new tracks and a live track from earlier this year, a good solid couple

Legion Of The Damned
Slaves Of THe Shadow Realm
Napalm Records
Brutal, heavy, catchy, so much great stuff… a slayer-like attack, even heavier, and these guys have just done no wrong, why start now?

Full Disclosure, I’m a Soilwork fanboy… so, this album is welcome! They are firing on all pistons lately and I was sad when Dirk the drummer left for Megadeth, but the new guy (a student of his) is filling in well… while not quite as crazy in the drum department, this album has all of the melodic death goodness and catchiness… great stuff once again!

John Garcia
John Garcia And The Band of Gold
Napalm Records
Former Kyuss front man with some solo stuff and a great stonery classic groove. Great stuff.

Micro (EP)
Napalm Records
One of the heavier and techy female fronted bands… 2 songs so far… great grooves, heaviness and djenty tech death stuff.

Grindy brutal death metal. Gurgly vox, good grooves but just totally sick brutality.
