It’s top notch classic Iced Earth… Riffy, heavy, screamy… Ripper Owens really made me think he was the right guy to front Judas Priest when he did, he has the vocal chops to pull this off, and with Jon Schaffer telling him what to do, you get good ol Iced Earth… of course you’ll hear this on the Mosh Pit… can’t wait for the full length!!

Picking up right where their last album left off, they have the (GOOD) Pantera sound nailed to a T. It’s good and thrashy, catchy, hardcore-enough and they have moved past their days of the band that covered “Baby Got Back.” It’s chunky, melodic, heavy, thrashy, and a bit sludgey in parts. You’ll hear this on the Mosh Pit!

Hmm… new album with the old Soil singer… guess what this sounds like… Yeah, you’re right.  Soil with a plain ol hard rock band behind him.   It’s um, like mostly some lame slow Alice in Chains type songs.   This might be good for another station in town.  I skipped through the CD waiting for that one song to grab me… uh, nothing grabbed me… eject!
